Strength: Each tablet/capsule contains Rivastigmine 3 mg (as Rivastigmine Tartrate).

Indications:

Rivaren is used to treat mild to moderately severe dementia in:

• Alzheimer's disease.
• Parkinson's disease.

It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger in the brain involved in memory and thinking.

Dosage and Administration:

• Usually taken twice a day with morning and evening meals.
• Starting dose is typically 1.5 mg twice daily, which may be gradually increased by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to rivastigmine or similar medications.

Side Effects:

• Very Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
• Common: Loss of appetite, indigestion, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, weight loss.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor about any heart problems, stomach ulcers, seizures, or breathing issues.
• May cause dizziness or drowsiness.
