Rosen 28 

Presentation: Rosen 28 Tablet, available in Bangladesh, is a combined oral contraceptive pill. Each pack contains 28 tablets: 21 light yellow tablets, each containing Ethinylestradiol 0.030 mg and Drospirenone 3 mg, and 7 white placebo tablets. The tablets are presented in blister packs.

Indications: Rosen 28 is indicated for oral contraception in women.

Dosage and Administration: To achieve maximum contraceptive effectiveness, Rosen 28 must be taken in the order directed on the package at about the same time every day, with an interval not exceeding 24 hours. One tablet is to be taken daily for 28 consecutive days. A new pack is started on the day after the previous pack is finished.

• Start with the first light yellow tablet on the first day of menstruation, following the arrows on the pack.
• Continue taking one light yellow tablet daily for 21 days.
• Then, take one white placebo tablet daily for the next 7 days. Menstruation usually starts during this time.
• After completing the 7 white tablets, start a new pack of light yellow tablets.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include nausea, headache, breast pain, and irregular uterine bleeding. Less common side effects can include changes in weight, mood changes, and dizziness.

Precautions: Rosen 28 is contraindicated in women with certain conditions, including a history of blood clots, stroke, heart attack, severe liver disease, certain types of migraine, and hormone-sensitive cancers. It should not be used during pregnancy. Caution should be exercised in women who smoke, are over 35 years of age, have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a family history of thromboembolic disorders.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and out of reach of children.
