S-Citapram 10 contains Escitalopram at a strength of 10mg per tablet. Escitalopram is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It is the S-enantiomer of citalopram. S-Citapram 10 is manufactured by General Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Indications:

S-Citapram (Escitalopram) is used to treat:

• Major Depressive Episodes 
• Panic Disorder with or without agoraphobia 
• Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia) 
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder 
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Dosage and Administration:

The usual dosage is 10 mg once daily. Depending on your response, your doctor may increase the dose to a maximum of 20 mg daily. For panic disorder, the initial dose is 5 mg daily for the first week, then increased to 10 mg daily, with a maximum of 20 mg daily. For social anxiety disorder, the usual dose is 10 mg once daily, which may be adjusted between 5 mg and 20 mg daily based on your response. S-Citapram can be taken with or without food, usually at the same time each day. It may take 2-4 weeks to notice an antidepressant effect, and treatment for at least 6 months after symptom resolution is often recommended.

• Drowsiness
• Increased sweating
• Fatigue

Precautions:
