Presentation: Each tablet contains Alprazolam BP 0.5 mg.

Indications: Sentix (Alprazolam) is indicated for the short-term relief of anxiety disorders, the management of anxiety associated with depression, and the treatment of panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia.

Dosage and Administration: The dosage should be individualized and determined by a healthcare professional based on the severity of symptoms and the patient's response.

• Anxiety Disorders: The usual starting dose for adults is 0.25 to 0.5 mg three times daily. The dose may be increased gradually as needed, up to a maximum daily dose.
• Panic Disorder: The usual starting dose for adults is 0.5 mg three times daily. The dose may be increased gradually until a therapeutic response is achieved.

Sentix tablets are administered orally. Treatment should be limited to the shortest duration necessary. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided due to the risk of withdrawal symptoms.

Side Effects: Common adverse reactions may include sedation, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, and impaired coordination. Less common side effects can include memory impairment, confusion, irritability, depression, and blurred vision.

Precautions: Sentix is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines and in patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma. Caution should be exercised in patients with respiratory depression, severe hepatic impairment, and a history of drug abuse or dependence. It may impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Use with alcohol or other CNS depressants should be avoided. Potential for dependence exists. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be carefully considered.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
