Twindopa 125

Presentation: Each tablet contains Levodopa 100 mg and Carbidopa 25 mg. 

Indications: Treatment of Parkinson's disease and syndrome, relieving symptoms like rigidity and bradykinesia. May help with tremor, dysphagia, sialorrhea, and postural instability.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage is individualized. Usual starting dose is one tablet three times daily. May be increased gradually by one tablet daily or every other day until optimal response, up to a maximum of eight tablets daily. Follow doctor's instructions.

Side Effects: Common: Nausea, involuntary movements, dyskinesia. Other significant reactions may include convulsions, dementia, mental changes (paranoid ideation, psychotic episodes, depression). Orthostatic hypotension may occur.

Precautions: Use with caution in patients with severe cardiovascular or pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, renal, hepatic, or endocrine disease. ¹ May interact with antihypertensive medicines, tricyclic antidepressants, ferrous sulfate, dopamine-2 receptor antagonists, and isoniazid.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
