Twindopa 275 Tablet - (250mg Levodopa + 25mg Carbidopa)

Presentation: Each tablet contains 250mg Levodopa BP and 25mg Carbidopa BP. 

Indications: For Parkinson's disease and syndrome, alleviating rigidity and slow movement. Often helps with tremor, swallowing issues, drooling, and balance problems. May aid motor recovery after stroke when combined with physiotherapy.

Dosage: Individualized by a doctor. Initial dose for those not on levodopa: 1 tablet once or twice daily, gradually increased. For those on higher levodopa doses: 1 tablet three to four times daily, adjusted as needed up to a maximum of eight daily. Take with or without food, but avoid high-protein meals for better absorption.

Side Effects: Common: nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, sleepiness, headache, abnormal dreams. Other possibilities: anxiety, involuntary movements, low blood pressure upon standing.

Precautions: Inform your doctor of glaucoma or melanoma history. Use cautiously with heart, lung, kidney, liver, or endocrine issues. Avoid stopping suddenly. May interact with some antidepressants.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture, out of children's reach.
