Presentation: Ulfix is available as both a 1000 mg tablet and a 1 gm/5 ml oral suspension. The tablet is usually available in blister packs, and the oral suspension in bottles of varying sizes (e.g., 100 ml, 200 ml). The active ingredient is Sucralfate BP. Ulfix is marketed by Renata PLC in Bangladesh.

Indications: Ulfix (Sucralfate) is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Adults:

Small amounts of aluminumare absorbed and may accumulate. The concomitant use of other aluminum-containing medications is not recommended. Bezoars have been reported, mainly in severely ill patients with delayed gastric emptying or those receiving enteral tube feedings.
