Veserc 16

Presentation: Each tablet contains Betahistine Dihydrochloride 16 mg.

Indications: Veserc is indicated for the treatment of Meniere's disease, a disorder of the inner ear characterized by episodes of vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and hearing loss. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of vestibular vertigo (dizziness due to inner ear problems).

Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is 16 mg three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted by the physician based on individual response. It is recommended to take the tablets with or after food to minimize any potential gastric discomfort. Follow your physician's instructions carefully regarding the dose and duration of treatment.

Side Effects: Common side effects are generally mild and transient, and may include nausea, dyspepsia (indigestion), headache, and palpitations. Less common side effects can include hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash, itching, and angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat).

Precautions: Exercise caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcers or asthma. Betahistine should be used with caution in patients with hypotension (low blood pressure). Inform your physician if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. The safety of betahistine in pregnancy and lactation has not been fully established.

Veserc may interact with antihistamines; however, these interactions are not usually clinically significant. Inform your physician about all other medications you are currently taking.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
