Visnor 

Presentation: Visnor 50, available in Bangladesh, contains Tiemonium Methylsulfate 50 mg per film-coated tablet. It is usually available in blister packs. Visnor is a product of Apex Pharma Limited.

Indications: Visnor (Tiemonium Methylsulfate) is indicated as an antispasmodic drug that reduces muscle spasms of the intestine, biliary system, urinary bladder, and uterus. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system. It is also indicated for the treatment of spasm and pain in urological and gynecological diseasessuch as:  

• Gastroenteritis  
• Diarrhea  
• Dysentery  
• Biliary colic  
• Enterocolitis  
• Cholecystitis  
• Colonopathies  
• Mild cystitis  
• Spasmodic dysmenorrhea  

Dosage and Administration:   The usual oral dose for adults is 2 to 6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily, divided into several doses as required. The tablets should be swallowed with water. Follow the specific instructions provided by your physician.

Side Effects: The use of Visnor (Tiemonium Methylsulfate) may be associated with the risk of hypotension (low blood pressure) and tachycardia (rapid heart rate) in some individuals. Side effects are generally considered rare.

Precautions: Visnor (Tiemonium Methylsulfate) should not be used in patients with:

• Glaucoma or acute pain of the eyeball with vision disturbance.
• Urethroprostatic disorders involving a risk of urine retention.
• Risk of angle-closure glaucoma.

Caution should be taken during the treatment of patients with disorders of the prostate, serious diseases of the kidney or liver, cardiac disorders, thyroid disorders, chronic bronchitis, and certain gastrointestinal diseases. The risks of visual disturbances can make it dangerous to drive or usemachines.

Use in Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise indicated by a registered physician.

Storage: Keep in a dry place, away from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 30°C.
