Presentation: Each capsule of Zanthin 2 contains Astaxanthin INN 2 mg. It is available in blister packs containing [Number] capsules, manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC in Bangladesh.

Indications: Zanthin (Astaxanthin) is indicated as a strong antioxidant. It is also used for internal beauty and skin improvement, as an internal sunscreen, and to support cardiovascular health, brain and central nervous system health, eye health, strength and endurance, and the immune system. It may also help reduce silent inflammation (C-reactive protein) and may have a role in arthritis management.

Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is 4 mg daily, taken with or immediately before a meal in the morning. For specific uses, the following dosages are suggested by the manufacturer:

• Antioxidant, Cardiovascular Health, Immune System Enhancer: 2-4 mg daily.
• Internal Beauty and Skin Improvement, Strength and endurance, Brain and Central Nervous System Health, Eye Health: 4-8 mg daily.
• Arthritis, Silent inflammation (C-reactive protein), Internal Sunscreen: 4-12 mg daily.

Dosage should be individualized, and it is best to follow the advice of a registered medical practitioner.

Side Effects: No severe side effects have been reported with Astaxanthin at recommended doses. However, some individuals might experience increased bowel movements or red stool color. High doses may potentially cause stomach pain.
